The above Slide shows the Pathway to becoming a Marker / Measurer / National Umpire / ITO

 

 

MARKER - The Marker course is a compulsory module in becoming a "National Umpire" - To become an accredited Marker you must attend a 4 hour competancy based training course. Register for the next available course.

MEASURER - The Measurer course is a compulsory module in becoming a "National Umpire" - To become an accredited Measurer you must attend a 4.5 hour competancy based training course. Register for the next available course.

NATIONAL UMPIRE - To become a "National Umpire" you must have first completed both the Marker & Measurer Modules (in either order). Once you have completed the Marker / Measurer Modules, you are eligable to complete the National Umpire Module. The National Umpire module is a 4 Hour 10 Min Competancy based training course. Register for the next available course.

International Technical Officer (ITO) - As an ITO you are accredited to Officiate at "International Events" and below. to become an ITO you must first be a National Umpire. Application to become an ITO are made via Bowls Australia.
